近日，国外网站登出一份教你在32MB系统上安装运行Windows 2000系统的简短优化指南，对于很多依旧使用半“古董”系统的用户来说颇有借鉴作用。　　

　　优化之前：Windows 2000系统开机需要30秒时间，还剩下3－4MB内存空间供软件运行使用。系统反应速度让人想自杀。　

　　优化之后：Windows 2000系统开始时间仅10秒，还剩10MB以上内存运行程序，系统反应速度相当快。

　　安装最简单的Windows 2000操作系统　　

　　注意：　　

　　1.不要安装任何Service Pack（在主流系统上，SP可以提高计算机性能和稳定性，但是对于古董机来说，只会拖累系统）。确认你的Windows 2000安装CD没有预先集成任何Service Pack。　　

　　2.不要安装任何多语言支持　　

　　3.不要从任何Windows系统升级　　

　　4.格式化系统时使用FAT方式，不要选择NTFS　　

　　步骤：　　

　　a.取消鼠标阴影

　　b.取消一切显示效果，包括彩色图标　　

　　你可以使用16位彩色桌面，取消高彩图标支持、淡入淡出效果以及托拽中显示窗口信息等“花哨”功能。　　

　　c.移除声音主题以及声卡　

　　d.取消不需要的服务（最重要的部分）

　　需要取消的服务包括：

　　* Remote Registry Service

　　* Task Scheduler

　　* RunAs Service

　　* TCP/IP NetBios Helper Service

　　* Print Spooler

　　* Event Log

　　* Computer Browser

　　* IPSEC Policy Agent

　　* System Event Notification

　　* Alerter

　　* Protected Storage

　　* Server　　

　　你还可以取消按照需求取消如下服务：

　　* Infrared Monitor

　　* Removable Storage (for USB drives, attachable CD drives etc.)　　

　　安装并使用X-Setup（取消大部分Window隐藏服务）　　

　　需要取消的服务包括：　　

　　* disabke activedesktop

　　* use "Classic" Explorer style

　　* disallow file and printer sharing

　　* Shutdown can auto-end programs

　　* Service timout when system shutdown decreasde to 10sec

　　* Disable group policy objects (GPO)

　　* Disable dr. watson just-in-time debugging

　　* Disable "last access" attribute of files (this is important for drive/processor speed)

　　* disable "secure desktop" patch

　　* Disable windows file protection (t这对于提高运行速度来说非常重要)　　

　　移除LPT/打印机端口，取消打印机和文件共享

　　安装并使用Tweak UI　　

　　Tweak UI是一款很老但是很有用的微软工具，安装后做如下设置：　　

　　* remove all UI effects of windows

　　* remove active desktop

　　* remove "new documents added to documents on startmenu"

　　* renmove "beep on error"

　　* reomove most of the icons from the "new" tab　　

　　善于使用休眠功能：　　

　　休眠功能能够让你以非常快的速度启动计算机，一次标准启动大约需要40秒，而从休眠中启动只需10至15秒。　　

　　安装网卡　　

　　日常使用注意事项　　

　　1.不要安装太多软件

　　2.每次只运行一个程序，开一个窗口

　　3.不要经常打开超过1MB大小的文件（图片、文档等）

　　4.不要安装任何系统补丁

　　5.不要羡慕桌面花哨的系统，记住，你的32MB系统与美丽无缘。　　

　　最后，你可以在你的Windows 2000系统下运行Office2000作为配套，需要注意的是，不要进行正常的安装步骤。直接从其他人的安装目录下拷贝所有文件到你的硬盘中即可。Office2000安装中的硬件驱动认证将大大降低你的系统性能。
