随着Windows 7的开发一步步接近尾声，微软也开始在与软硬件厂商的合作上迈出新的一步了。微软今天宣布，将Windows 7和Windows Server 2008 R2发布前部署好Windows 7 Compatibility Center(Windows 7兼容性中心)，该中心主要用来向用户提供与Windows 7和Windows Server 2008 R2兼容的软硬件。
那么，怎么来界定这个兼容性呢？大致分为三个标准：
1.最高标准：软硬件必须拥有"Compatible with Windows 7" 或 "Certified for Windows Server 2008"的Logo
2.中级标准：软硬件厂商无需通过微软的兼容性测试，可以通过简单的陈述来说明他们的软硬件是兼容于Windows 7的
3.最低标准：软硬件厂商必须保证未来的产品将兼容于Windows 7
大概就在Windows 7进入RTM时，微软会向Windows 7兼容性中心中添加与Windows 7兼容的软件列表。不管最终效果怎样，微软为确保兼容性而花费的心思和努力确实值得肯定。
