Windows Strata:微软即将推出的操作系统

微软即将推出的操作系统，微软首席执行官Steve Ballmer之前将这一操作系统暂时称为“Windows Cloud”，其最终命名可能是“Windows Strata”。
虽然微软没有直接给出这一说法，不过在其PDC（专业开发人员协会）网站上出现了“Windows Strata”的字眼，而且所有与“Windows Cloud”相关的内容都归到了“Windows Strata”目录下，例如在六月份提出的“Red Dog”项目主要就是用来描述“Windows Cloud”操作系统，而今，它被归在“Windows Strata”下。
这引起了很多业内人士的猜测，他们都认为“Windows Strata”即是“Windows Cloud”的最终代号。
